Flood Risk & Sequential Testing
One Planning has experience of undertaking Flood Risk Sequential Testing for large scale developments. We work alongside engineers who undertake Flood Risk Assessments (FRA’s). Flood Risk Sequential Testing If you are proposing to locate either housing or commercial development within Flood Zones 2 or 3 you may be required by the Local Planning Authority (LPA) and the Environment Agency to demonstrate a flood risk (PPS25) Sequential Test and an Exception Test. What does it involve? This will need to demonstrate that there are no other sequentially preferable sites which are either suitable and available which could accommodate the scale of development being proposed and meet its functional requirements.
